Merchant of Light Special Science School, Oba 2002 set has the distinction of having one of the progressive and influential high school Alumni Associations in Nigeria.

To continue this tradition of assisting the school, MLSSSS Old Boys Association of Nigeria, Inc., popularly known as MLSSSS Oba was formed. MLSSSS is an association of former students on the famous Merchant of Light Special Science School, Oba, Anambra, Nigeria.

MLSSSS has an overriding objective of keeping all former students of MLSSSS residing in the world connected to each other and assisting the students at MLSSSS, Oba in the form of scholarships and infrastructural developments
