In a heartwarming display of brotherhood and solidarity, members of the Merchant of Light Special Science School Oba Old Boys Association—popularly known as The Great Achievers, 2002 set—rallied in their numbers to honor the late mother of one of their own, Mr. Ejikeme Obumneme, fondly remembered as alias 001, the pioneer President of the association.

The solemn event, held in Awuda Nnobi, Anambra State, saw the Achievers Cardinals come together to support their brother during this trying moment. Led by the current Public Relations Officer of the association, Mr. Benedict Igwilo, known affectionately as NUSCAR, the Achievers made a remarkable presence that underscored the enduring bond forged in their school days.

Also in attendance were notable members of the 2002 set including Ozouwa Obiajulu (PAPPIN PUSHER), Mr. Onwurah Ifeanyi (GAS), Chief Ifeanyi Onyeka (OIL), Mr. & Mrs. Ezekwonna Chukwuemeka (METRAL), Mr. Unogu Chijioke (PAW PAW), Mr. Dike Chukwudi, Comrade Ijeomah Anthony (IT CHIEF), and Mr. Eloka Onyenaucheya (SEKAUWE).

The group paid their last respects during the burial Mass and interment of Late Mrs. Cecilia Nkiruka Ejikeme, a woman celebrated for her grace and strength. In a moving gesture of unity, the Achievers took a group photograph with their bereaved brother, affirming that true brotherhood transcends time and distance.

As the outing Mass was held on Sunday, 4th May 2025, the legacy of love and support showcased by the Achievers Cardinals remains a shining example of alumni solidarity at its best.

May the soul of Late Cecilia Nkiruka Ejikeme continue to rest in peace.
