In a show of solidarity and brotherhood, members of the Merchant of Light Special Science School, Oba Old Boys Association 2002 Set, popularly known as the Great Achievers (MLSSS'02), came together to support one of their own, Mr. Celestine Offor, as he laid his beloved father, Late Stephen Mbanefo Offor, to rest.
The burial ceremony, which took place on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Umuanugwo Village, Ifitedunu Town, Dunukofia LGA, Anambra State, witnessed a large turnout of family members, friends, and well-wishers. Notably present was the official Public Relations Officer (PRO) of MLSSS'02 Achievers, Mr. Benedict Igwilo, popularly known as Oscar Kay, who led the delegation of the association.
Late Stephen Mbanefo Offor, aged 68, was fondly remembered as a good father, a pillar in his community, and a man of strong faith and character. His burial arrangements commenced earlier with a requiem mass on April 8th, 2025, and culminated in a dignified burial service, followed by a celebration of life attended by friends, in-laws, and well-wishers.
The MLSSS'02 Achievers' presence at the funeral was a true testament to the enduring bond and values of unity and support nurtured from their school days. They extended their heartfelt condolences to Mr. Celestine Offor and his family, praying for the peaceful repose of their patriarch’s soul.
As the Achievers continue to stand by their own, the spirit of brotherhood remains strong, even beyond the walls of their alma mater.
May the soul of Late Stephen Mbanefo Offor rest in perfect peace.
